Future Talks About LeBron James Being a Fan and Soundtracking Some of His ‘Big Moments’

LeBron James has never shied away from pledging his allegiance to the Atlanta rapper’s music, as the Los Angeles Lakers superstar has repeatedly demonstrated over the years.

Future, on the other hand, has drawn inspiration from having LeBron as one of his biggest fans. During a recent appearance on MSNBC’s The Beat with Ari Melber, Pluto was asked how he feels about “being the soundtrack to so many people’s lives, including LeBron’s big moments.”

“It feels great,” said Future. “It just keeps me going, inspires and motivates me to stay in the studio and keep coming up with different tunes, you know.” “I’m making that music.”

“I love when people say certain things about it, and it just inspires me, when they say things about me and my career,” he added. It certainly inspires me.”

LeBron’s love for Future has been documented numerous times over the last decade, most notably in 2015, when the then-Cavs legend spent what seemed like the entire summer dancing to Future’s smash hit “March Madness.” When asked on Twitter in July to name his favourite song at the time, LeBron chose the song without hesitation.

In May 2021, the Rap Caviar Twitter account asked hip-hop heads which rapper deserved a spot alongside Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole on Rap’s 2010 Mount Rushmore.

“Future Hendrix,” LeBron responded.
