3 Men Arrested in Florida for Assaulting 6ix9ine

On Thursday, three men were arrested in Florida on suspicion of assaulting 6ix9ine on March 21.

According to a Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office representative, Rafael Medina Jr., 43, Octavious Medina, 23, and Anthony Maldonado, 25, are now in custody. They were captured on surveillance video and social media.

“Deputies said the three suspects were being booked into Palm Beach County jail Thursday night,” according to the AP’s brief report.

6ix9ine was taken to the hospital with jaw, rib, and back injuries. One video that quickly went viral showed the 26-year-old with a bloodied face walking away in socks while yelling, “Y’all n***as jumped me.”

“Three or four thugs beat him up in a Sauna at a gym (he tried fighting back),” his lawyer Lance Lazzaro said in a statement provided to Complex. “He had cuts and bruises on his face.” When employees heard the commotion, the perpetrators fled. Police in South Florida were called, and he was taken to a local hospital by ambulance.”

There was no way in the world that 6ix9ine being assaulted in a LA Fitness sauna wouldn’t garner a lot of attention. Tekashi’s bodyguard issued a challenge to the attackers, saying, “4 vs 1 y’all weak ass bitches against me..you win I pay you 10,000$ n if you lose you die,” while Boosie Badazz suggested a GoFundMe page for the victims.

The mother of the controversial rapper’s child said their 7-year-old daughter was “embarrassed,” while a happy Jim Jones hit the Milly Rock and reminded 6ix9ine that “you gotta be sturdy out here.”
