“Ain’t Nothing to Feel Strange about,” claims DaBaby in Defence of the Contentious Lines from “Boogeyman”

In his song “Boogeyman,” DaBaby asserts that he had sex with Megan Thee Stallion. He has defended these accusations.

On DaBaby’s most recent fourth studio album, “Baby On Baby 2,” the disputed song can be found.

At one point in the song, he raps, “The day before she alleged that Tory Lanez shot her / I was fuckin’ on Megan Thee Stallion.” I was waiting to express that sh*t on my upcoming album, “Hit it the day before, too.”

The controversy surrounding “Boogeyman” was addressed by DaBaby, actual name Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, during a recent visit on Hot 97’s Ebro In The Morning show (via Uproxx).

“The song has been completed for real, for genuine, for nearly a year. And whatever I say will be broadcast,” DaBaby said. “What is is what is. As I said previously, “Keep me out of the business.”

It’s a music that’s now available; n****s can interpret it whatever they want, he continued. I’m not on drugs; it’s a newly released tune. You wish I hadn’t included that in [the album]? There is nothing strange about. You won’t experience it.

Megan appeared to make reference to DaBaby’s comments on “Boogeyman” last month. During a performance in Las Vegas, she informed the audience, “I do what I want with my body, when I want to with my body, with anyone I want to with my body.” “Because who is it? I, my body

Anyone who can read between the lines would see that the trash was actually uttered, he responded, telling Hot 97. Please don’t accuse me of being against women’s empowerment because of what you’re doing with your friend.

You are unhappy with me for being on a n***a song because you know the reason, right? We both understand the explanation. You, me, and a select group of others know why, but I kept it quiet and didn’t say anything.

The remarks follow reports that Lanez would be under home arrest until the start of his trial for allegedly assaulting Megan Thee Stallion on November 28.

The case is related to Megan’s claims that Lanez shot her in the foot in 2020; Lanez entered a not-guilty plea in November 2021. Assault and weapons charges are brought against Lanez.

Megan criticised DaBaby back in June 2021 when the rapper seemed to back Tory Lanez on social media. It followed DaBaby’s appearance on Lanez’s song “Skat.”

“Help me do something different in public and in private…

These businessmen are so weird, Megan tweeted. I really wish people would stop treating the alleged shooting as some sort of online shit for likes and retweets because it isn’t any damn “conflict.”

DaBaby was charged with felony violence earlier this year after it was claimed that he attacked the owner of a rental home where he was filming a music video. Later, he declared his backing for former US President Donald Trump.
