Lil Mosey Was Found Not Guilty in Rape Trial

Lil Mosey has been acquitted of rape.

Mosey and an associate named Joshua Darrow, also known as Band Kid Jay, were charged with second-degree rape in connection with an alleged incident at a party in Randle, Washington in 2021.

The accuser claims she went to a cabin with an unidentified friend to meet the now-21-year-old Seattle rapper and engage in consensual sex. She claims she blacked out and woke up with Mosey pulling her legs apart to have sex with her again.

Before the trial, Mosey was ordered to stay 500 feet away from his accuser, maintain complete sobriety, and surrender any firearms he possessed.

In response to the jury’s decision, XXL obtained a statement from Lil Mosey’s attorney, Shane O’Rourke.

“From the beginning, Mosey maintained his innocence and has now been cleared of all charges.” “He voluntarily submitted to two lie detector tests, both of which he passed prior to trial,” O’Rourke said. “After two years of investigation and proof, the prosecutors refused to accept the evidence of his innocence.” Mosey has been completely vindicated and should never have been prosecuted.”

Earlier today, Lil Mosey shared a short video on Instagram.

“I spent two years of my life going through the storm, and I’m glad to say that God finally revealed the truth to me.” “Many thanks,” he wrote.

If Mosey was found guilty, he could face life in prison.
