Drake Just Launched An Instagram Hentai Barrage

Hello and welcome to the weekend. I’m here to send you off into the night by informing you that rapper Drake has posted a slew of anime porn, aka hentai, to his main Instagram account. For the record, the account has 124M followers, which is more than Crunchyroll’s total viewership in 2021. The porn appears to be part of his marketing campaign for his new album “Her Loss.” Just one more thing the rapper has done recently that has piqued the interest of the internet and caused many people to pause and wonder, “…What? Why?”

Before we get into the hentai posting, let’s take a quick detour to provide some context.

Drake and 21 Savage released a new collaborative album today. Drake and 21 Savage have been on a wild whirlwind marketing blitz to help promote Her Loss, the new record, complete with a fake promo for a non-existent NPR Tiny Desk Concert starring the duo and a completely fabricated Vogue cover. Strange stuff! Drake, on the other hand, decided to take his Her Loss promotion to a whole new level last night, posting straight-up anime porn on his main, official Instagram.

The photos are still up on his Instagram story as of 6:15 p.m. EST. Last night, he shared four different hentai images with various English captions, including “Mood at midnight” and “Goodbye my dear husband.” Enough posts, in other words, that the porn does not appear to be a random image he found or something.

Click here to see the fully uncensored images, but keep in mind that they are full-on hentai screenshots. Be cautious if you are at work or with conservative family members.

The album has only been out for a short time, but it has already sparked some controversy involving Megan Thee Stallion. Drake appears to make a reference to a rumoured 2020 shooting involving Stallion and Canadian rapper Tory Lanez in one of the album’s songs. Lanez allegedly shot Megan Thee Stallion’s feet when she attempted to flee an argument. Drake appears to refer to this event in the song Circo Loco, rapping, “This bitch lie ’bout getting shots but she still a stallion.”

Megan Thee Stallion, another well-known anime fan, has since tweeted about the song and its lyrics, writing, “Stop using my shooting for clout bitch ass n—-!” When did it become acceptable to make jokes about women being shot?!”
